Nice piano

I have to give it to nubbinownz, that piano melody is amazing. Simply amazing. I would've liked more difference from the original than just a guitar and bass added... even the drums are the same... and I guess it's a good song, I'm just not a big fan of glitchy drums... and they were a bit slow, too. However, I'll stop talking about what I like and while this isn't my favorite, it's still a very good song. I just would have liked to see more done with it :|

Scribbler responds:

The idea wasn't to change the song but instead add to it. In any case, thanks for the review and keep listening!

holy shit man...

This is a HUGE leap in talent... seriously, I'd never have expected this from you before... but I'll keep my eyes peeled for new tracks from you. The pads in the back were fantastic, they really gave ita nice feel, and your reeses were great. I loved the filtering on the drums at arouns 3 minutes. How did you figure out how to make reeces and do all this that quickly?! It took me SEVERAL tries to be able to make a good reese, and I don't think I can manipulate it as well as you did in this song. Thank you for inspiring me to get off my lazy ass and work on some reeses lol.

But seriously, this sounds pro. If you don't mind, I'm downloading this and throwing it into some of my mixes. (I recently got a DJ mixer yay)

You should send this to a label, or make more like it and send them to labels. You'd get signed in an instant.

how is that review helpful at all? it doesnt talk about the actual song at all. who gives a crap if he's off by one second about the length. who cares if it doesnt loop perfectly. it's still a good song (loop).

I like the full version too, nice work man.

I guess they dont need to like it :). Thanks.

Whoa....

Yeah, I have to say, that bass is awesome. I like it a lot. I think the drums need work though... the snare is almost non-existent to me. I can't hear it over everything else that's going on. If you want, I'm not working on anything major, and I'd be willing to help with this track... I'm a fan of yours anyway :D

If I were a DJ...

I'd definitely spin this at a club. I loved it from the second it started. That bass is purely amazing. I've been looking at your other stuff too; all amazing. You went on my favorite artists list.

Wow...

Wow... this is the first time anyone's remixed one of my songs... and it's by YOU... wow. It sounds great. I do definitely enjoy this. Also, I don't think I've ever heard one of your remixes, only original stuff. Nonetheless, this is great. Being the original artist, it's great to hear what other people can add to your song. I like the diversity of the instruments at the beginning. I also like your new bassline. Very catchy.

BTW, the original Armageddon was greatly inspired by Robot Army's Return, if you haven't noticed :D

Hmm...

It's sort of like... a lot being thrown out at once. It's a bit hard to make out each instrument (besides drums of course) The drums should be louder, and try to make each synth more distinguishable. (ooh, big words!)

DJSubstanc3 responds:

Respectively, the outcome of the production of each sound are widely distributed on probably a poorly done multiband compression. Given fact that the system which I currently use, is quite limited to having the final effects of this song to be considered more professional. RAM use is very low (since I'm using my roomates comp, kinda crappy for RAM haha) which makes it much harder to get the sound just right. Since this piece was only done on a computer, my hopes and expectancies are in the process of a larger range of synths and sounds, equipment ftw.

So in sum of this quick response, it was the multiband compressors fault :-p

Thank you very much for your review as well :D

p.s. - You like those big words huh? :D

Pretty good

For your first DnB, this is great. Mine were nowhere near this. While the drums are good, I suggest making them faster. Much faster. And, add a bass. All I hear are the drums and one acid-sounding synth.

Might I ask, what software are you using?

Zealon responds:

I use Magix Music Maker v1.14, it's not really advanced, and pretty easy to learn, It took about a day to learn the basics and another several days to actually piece things together.

Thanks for the heads up and suggestions =]

Nice.

I'd use it on my phone.

Nice Pendulum drums too, lol.

I make drum & bass which I upload on www.soundcloud.com/1 shibumi. I don't submit (often) to NG anymore, but feel free to use whatever I have posted here. But you should know that I've gotten a lot better!
