Hmm....

How am I reviewing this only now? I heard it years ago... but anyway, knowing more about Drum n Bass now, I think the snare drum is a bit too weak compared the kick. The kick drum really stands out, and that's not a bad thing, but you might wanna make the snare more apparent. Just turn it up. Otherwise, good job, the melodies are nice and catchy, and it's an overall good song.

Don't get me wrong...

This is a good song. The drums should have definitely been louder. MUCH louder. And at some parts of the song, you didn't slice the break at all. I have that same break, and I'm just saying you could have sliced it up in those parts. But overall, good song.

Hmm...

I wouldn't put this in drum n bass. I'd put it in modern hip hop. But the actual song is pretty good. I don't know what to say really, just wanted to point out the genre thing...

Hmm...

This is perfect background music for a scary movie or a really suspenseful and quiet scene in something. Maybe eerie background music for the menu of a war game? Who knows. But it's still pretty good, even though it lacks melodies lol. It's just too... creepy for me. lol

A great song indeed.

Yep... I loved this song from the moment it started. Love it so much, I remixed it. Care to check out my version? :D

Anyway, the piano WAS a nice touch, you don't hear much DnB like this. It is pretty unique. I might start making more DnB of this style :D

Yeah good song and all but your reeces... now I'm not one to insult you, seeing as I'm a n00b compared to you, but your reeces sound like filtered noised. With pitches. Sorry :| Try to make a Noisia-type gritty bass in your next DnB. I don't think I've ever heard a gritty bass in your songs. I'm sure you can pull it off.

Good overall, but...

I'll say it again... you use the same drum samples in almost every song you make... same goes for the synths, too... I heard the same synth that was in the intro to The Traveller somewhere in the middle here. It's good, and all your songs are great, but changing up the drum samples/synths would make it better, because everyone likes diversity. And if I'm right, you're using GarageBand? If that's true, are those synths/samples presets or something? Now while your music is good, I suggest you get FL Studio or Reason if those synths/samples ARE presets.

Just a suggestion :D

Yep, to the song. I like this and the original Robot Army equally. This one has less violence though. That's what's cool about your tracks. The xylophone (was it a xylophone?) and piano kind of calm everything down despite the nasty bass. And that bass is nasty. Awesome.
