[NGHH - Fat Beats vs HeavyUrb]

Fat Beeeeats

At first when I listened to his stuff, I wasn't sure what I thought about Fat Beats, but after some more listens I actually really like his flow. I'm sure if his vocals were a bit louder and a tad less monotone I'd love it.
HeavyUrb needs work lol, he's not on beat all the time and he sometimes stumbles over his words... I'm not sure I enjoyed his verses at all :\

Fat Beats easily takes this one.

This is so good, I really love it. I have nothing constructive to say; this is perfect lol. Very nice sampling, nice groove too. I could definitely get down to this.

Good

I love the feeling of this, it's definitely got potential. What doesn't really do it for me though is that your drums don't really fit the sample, rhythm-wise. It feels a little disjointed and kind of destroys the flow; I can't really get into it :\ I think they could use some swing, in fact - that might help the problem.

The sample is great though, just the meshing of sampled stuff and your own sounds could be a little better.

I don't even usually review stuff on NG... but this is fantastic man. The beat is so chill and groovy, the lyrics are real, and your flow is nice, not to mention your vocals are clear and really well recorded. I'm feelin this one and looking forward to more.

Nice one

I love the atmosphere of this right from the start, and man at 0:22 that bass sounds fantastic. I've never heard your drum and bass before, but for a first attempt at a liquid tune, this is beyond fantastic. The amen in this context gives it that classic liquid feel. Really subtle drop, I like it, and the sub there is great. This is really good, and the mixdown is solid too. No complaints from me. Nice job.

Where did you come from lol? I've never heard any of your music before, but I like what I hear. It sounds pretty polished. That bass is really nice, and, well, so is the whole atmosphere. I'm gonna keep my eye on you haha.

this is the first review i'm writing in a looooong time. i just wanted to let you know your drums are the best. they are really well done, man. i love them. everything else is good too though, that's a nice bass. i wish you made more drum & bass :|

Solid tune. I like it, the drums sound nice and tight. The bass is great, too. There's really nothing bad sticking out in this track. Maybe you could extend it into a full-length drum & bass tune, but that's not necessary. Sounds good.

[TG10 (WIP)]

Finally, actual drum & bass.

Nice drums. They sound tight. Since this is a WIP, I can't say much, but it sounds like it's going to turn out to be a good song. The intro is rather repetitive up to 0:44 though, might want to add some subtle sounds here and there.
